Chemical Industrial Park for Industrial Demonstration Projects of Environmental Innovative Technologies with an Annual Output of 600,000 T/Y High-Performance Resin and Supporting Units of Shaanxi Jintai

Shaanxi Jintai Chlor-Alkali Shenmu Chemical Co., Ltd. is a key high-end chemical project in Yulin, Shaanxi Province. The 600,000 t/year high-performance resin and supporting equipment environmental innovation technology industrialization demonstration project covers an area of 3,000 mu (200 hectares). It mainly builds a 600,000 t/y high-performance resin using the calcium carbide method and supporting projects including a 600,000 t/y ion membrane caustic soda plant, a salt well, a 1.1 million t/y carbide slag activated lime, 1×30MW and 1×80MW back-pressure power generating units, and other utility works. After the project is completed, it will consume and utilize 1.65 million tons of coal resources annually, add a new power load of 2.4 billion kWh, convert approximately 900,000 tons of rock salt locally, and achieve sales revenue of 6.3 billion yuan. It will not only promote the integrated development of “coal, power, and energy-intensive chemicals” in the company but also help unleash the comprehensive location advantages of Shenmu and inject new vitality into promoting technological progress, fostering industrial synergy, and promoting sustained economic growth in the local.

The supporting electrical heat tracing system is applied to various chemical unit in the project for heat tracing insulation and process maintenance purposes. It fundamentally ensures the normal operation of all plant equipment in various environments and provides reliable production support for the entire plant.
