The construction of the Jiangsu LNG Receiving Station Expansion Project is one of the most effective means to cope with the tight supply of winter gas sources in Southern Jiangsu where the West-East Gas Pipeline is located, the Northern Jiangsu where the Jining Branch Line is located, and the surrounding provinces and cities of Jiangsu Province. It will realize the complementary, backup, and interconnected gas supply pattern from multiple sources in Jiangsu Province and even the Yangtze River Delta region. It has played an important role in ensuring the stable operation of the natural gas transmission pipeline network and guaranteeing gas supply during winter peak demand, and has contributed to the accelerated energy green and low-carbon transformation in the Yangtze River Delta and even in China.
