Coal-to-Natural Gas Project Phase II.

Inner Mongolia Huineng Coal and Electricity Group’s coal-to-natural gas project has stable product quality and high conversion efficiency. Its technical equipment, process flow, environmental indicators, and overall benefits are at the leading level in China. It has filled the technical gap in coal gasification using coal-water slurry technology domestically and verified the feasibility of large-scale production of synthetic natural gas from coal as the raw material. This achieves the clean and efficient utilization of coal resources and explores a new path to ensure the strategic security of national energy. It has become a key project in the construction of a national clean energy main output base in Ordos City, and provides technical leadership and industry demonstration for the development of the national coal chemical industry. Jiahong won the bid for the electric heat tracing project in the coal-to-natural gas industry chain, which provides a reference for future participation in national coal-to-gas and other environmentally friendly economic industries.
