Jiahong Floor Warming Cable is a twin-conductor constant wattage tile floor heating cable. It is mainly designed for the North American Markets. It can be used in the living room and bedroom. It is also safe in the bathroom, basement, and kitchen room and other wet locations.

Jiahong Floor Warming Cable heats up through the inner conductor. It cannot be cut in any situation because the length and power of the constant wattage cable are deterministic. The rated voltage is 120V or 240V. In 120V, our regular lengths range from 40 to 400 feet. For 240V, our lengths range from 80 to 800 feet. 120Vac cable is often used in residential places and 240Vac cable is popular for commercial locations such as an office.

Jiahong Floor Warming Cable’s output is 3.0W per feet and the error difference is around plus or minus 10%. The maximum ambient temperature is 85^oF (30^oC) and the minimum installation temperature is 40^oF (5^oC).

The twin-conductor structure allows it to connect to the power from a single connection point. Jiahong Floor Warming Cable contains five components: inner conductor, conductor insulation, ground protection wire, aluminum foil shield, and outer jacket.

The inner conductor is made of tinned copper. It is the main element – it is not only the conductor but also the heating element.

The insulation is required to withstand the high temperature and high voltage. It commonly uses fluoropolymer such as ETFE or FEP.

The aluminum foil shield has an important function that secures the two pieces of conductors, which is the main benefit for the wrapping of the outer jacket. Meanwhile, the braid can shield electromagnetic radiation generated inside.

In order to provide ground protection, it is necessary to add a piece of tinned copper wire between the shield and insulation. The outer jacket is usually made of 100% waterproof PVC. This ensures it can be used in wet locations. It is this simple and stable structure that supports the over 30 years’ service lifespan.

Jiahong Floor Warming Cable is generally delivered in a complete heating cable. It consists of two different components: heating cable and cold lead. The cold lead is a 10ft (3m) regular electric wire with a plug.
