This product is an Exdb explosion protection certified liquid expansion type thermostat, suitable for use in hazardous areas with explosive gas
mixtures of Class II, Grades A, B, and C, and T1 to T6 groups in Zone 1 or Zone 2 environments. It is designed and manufactured according to GB/T
3836.1-2021 Explosive atmospheres - Part 1: Equipment. General requirements and GB/T 3836.2-2021 Explosive atmospheres - Part 2: Equip-
ment protected by flameproof enclosures “d”.The thermostat works in conjunction with electric heating cables for electrical heat tracing automat-
ic control of medium temperature of process pipelines or tanks. The stainless steel filled liquid bulb and capillary tube can be installed remotely
from the controller body to detect temperature. The bulb can operate in an environment temperature range from -30℃ to 320℃.The power incom-
ing line and the heating cable outgoing line holes are both M25 cable holes, and the cable glands can be used for either armored or non-armored
cables.
It adopts the explosion-proof and explosion-proof form, which can be used in the environment with explosive gas and conductive dust.
The mechanical principle of temperature control, stable performance, safe and reliable, suitable for high-power loads.
1. The thermostat is designed for use in hazardous areas with explosive gas mixtures of Class II, Grades A, B and C, and T1 to T6 groups in Zone 1 or Zone 2 environments. Maintenance must be performed by qualified personnel. “Do not open the cover while energized.”.
2. The thermostat should be regularly checked for any damage or aging of the sealing ring during use; if any issues are found, it should be replaced promptly.
3. Although the capillary tube is equipped with a metal corrugated protective sheath, avoid excessive bending to prevent obstruction of the internal liquid flow.
Maximum Recommended Heating Cable Length (Power Supply 230V): The maximum recommended length of the heating
cable is limited by the capacity of the temperature control switch.
Power Cable Specifications: It is recommended to use a cable with a cross-sectional area of at least 4mm², and ensure
reliable connections to the terminals.
For very high power loads, please use this product in conjunction with an AC contactor.
